CAST - The Late Henry Moss



Kevin Beyer (Henry Moss)
This is Kevin’s debut performance with St. Louis Actors’ Studio. Kevin has been performing locally for nearly nine years, including work with HotCity, New Jewish Theatre, St. Louis Shakespeare and City Players. Most recently, Kevin played Nightengale in Muddy Waters’ production of Vieux Carre.



Brooke Edwards (Conchalla)
Brooke is co-founder and co-artistic director of Orange Girls Theatre Company. She was last seen in their production of The Road to Mecca.  With the Orange Girls, she has appeared in Playhouse Creatures, Medea, and won the Kevin Kline Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Play for her role as Etta in Going to See the Elephant.  Brooke has also appeared locally with HotHouse, City Players, The Midnight Company, St. Louis Shakespeare and Muddy Waters Theatre.  She has also worked as an actor in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.  She has appeared on the television shows Pacific Blue and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  Her last film role was that of Fiora Abruzzo in The Game of Their Lives.  Brooke would like to thank St. Louis Actors’ Studio for this opportunity and would like to thank her boys Chris, Dane, Johnhenry and Atticus, for all their love and support.



William Roth (Earl Moss)
William has been working on St. Louis stages for over 25 years, including The Classic Theater Company, River City Players, Magic Smoking Monkey, Midnight Productions, the Goldenrod Showboat, the International Hemmingway Festival, HotHouse Theatre and Muddy Waters. During that time, he spent six years with the Orthwein Theatre Company, appearing in several shows, including The Grapes of Wrath, Our Town, ER, Emergency Room and Harvey. And over the past 15 years he has appeared in countless St. Louis Shakespeare productions, including Richard III, Metamorphoses and Antony and Cleopatra. Most recently he appeared in the last St. Louis Actors’ Studio’s production, The Waiting Room.


David Wassilak (Ray Moss)
David's previous experience with Sam Shepard's characters include:  Tilden in Buried Child, Wesley in Curse of the Starving Class and in the one-act Chicago. David has performed with The Orange Girls, Muddy Waters Theatre, St. Louis Shakespeare, The Midnight Company, Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre, The New Theatre, Orthwein Theatre Company, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and Theatre Project Company.  David is the Associate Artistic Director of St. Louis Actors' Studio and directed the company's first show, Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance.


Larry Dell (Esteban)
Larry returns to the Gaslight Theater stage, after playing Tobias in A Delicate Balance for St. Louis Actors’ Studio in November. Larry is a native St. Louisan and has performed locally for more than 25 years. He has worked with Theatre Project Company, Orthwein Theatre Company, City Players, St. Louis Shakespeare, Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre, The Black Rep, Spotlight Theatre Company, Muddy Waters Theatre and The Midnight Company.

John Pierson* (Taxi)
John is pleased to be making his debut with STLAS. He recently played Lewis in The Scene and Paul Barrow in Permanent Collection, both at HotCity. Other local work includes Hellcab and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune for Spotlight Theatre; Fool for Love for Muddy Waters; Hearts and the world premiere of Loving Leah for New Jewish Theatre; I Am A Man, Raisin, and the world premiere of Conversations on a Dirt Road at The Black Rep; Art at Ozark Actors Theatre, and The Baby Dance at HotHouse. He also worked with the now departed Historyonics and The New Theatre and appeared nationally in a touring production of Mass Appeal. John studied at Circle In The Square in New York, and he teaches in the Theatre and English departments of the John Burroughs School.
