JULY 2025 marks the return of our month-long LaBute New Theater Festival. Neil will delight us with his own new story as we present the winning submissions from both high school and emerging professional playwrights.
In addition, we are proud to announce the publication of our new book, “Unlikely Japan and Other Plays: Ten One-Acts from Ten Years of the LaBute New Theater Festival,”.
In honor of a decade of collaboration, the book features ten one-act plays by Neil LaBute, created and staged exclusively each summer by STLAS, at The Gaslight Theatre in St. Louis and 59E59 Street and Davenport Theaters in New York.
